Meeting with members and presentation of the Hairy Smurfs, a group for activities and therapy with dogs.
Having a child interact with a therapy dog helps them learn to read, and reading even encourages and alleviates many of the child's problems. Therapy dogs and their handlers will visit the library to show how their work is done, and there will be no shortage of fun, as the dogs will also show off some tricks.
