"Zoran Pevac's new poetry collection, entitled On the Objectivist Chair, is a condensed reflection that, with its semantic multifacetedness, marks the positions of contemporary society, the mythical past, and poetry from different perspectives in various ways."
The title does not aim for an objectivist attitude towards the world, but rather attempts to relate to the poems themselves in such an objectivist way, using various poetic procedures such as self-reflexivity and reference to one's own conventions, and typical figures such as hyperbole and oxymoron. All of this is produced in a poetically thoughtful attitude towards what is written and is organized into a comprehensive image created by a thinking poetic subject. "(Pivec Publishing House website)
