The renowned Celje poet and storyteller Bina Štampe Žmavc published a book of poems, Barka zvezd (The Barge of Stars), last year by Založba Obzorja. In them, in her recognizable poetic style, she turns the small things we live with every day into poetry, but when she thinks about them and puts them into words in a poetic way, they shine in their uniqueness, unrepeatability, and mystery. Mature poems that appeal to every generation.
Come and board the Barka zvezd (Barge of Stars) on Thursday, April 23rd, at the Miško Knjižka library café. The voyage will take place as part of the national event that evening – Book Night, and you will be sailing with author Bina Štampe Žmavc and Marijan Pušavec, who will be the navigator for the evening.
