On this year's Slovenian Public Library Day, we will host two excellent young authors, Zarjo Vršič and Nina KremžarBoth of them released their debuts this year; Zarja, a short prose collection Goat's Head (Cankar Publishing House), and Nina's poetry collection Access to the open sea (JSKD).
Kristian Koželj will talk to the authors, the event will take place in the Study Reading Room.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
ZARJA VRŠIČ She holds a master's degree in comparative literature and French from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and is the winner of the Nahtigal Student Award. She is a translator and critic, and also writes poetry and short prose. Kozjeglavka is her first book.
NINA KREMŽAR, born in Ljubljana, holds a master's degree in English and comparative literature. She writes prose and poetry, and publishes her texts in magazines (Dialogi, Apokalipsa, Mentor, Spirala), on online portals (Koridor, AirBeletrina), and in some international anthologies (Rukopisi). Since autumn 2018, she has been the editor-in-chief of the literary magazine Novi zvon, and can also boast of winning the Airbeletrina short story competition and the title Uršljanka 2018.
