Domen Kavčič is a renowned subtitle and literary translator. He graduated in Japanese studies and general linguistics from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, and completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Foreign Languages in Tokyo. He translates Japanese films and other content for RTV Slovenia and cinemas, and his first book translation from Japanese was 'One Straw Revolution' by the pioneer of sustainable farming Masanobu Fukuoka (2014). In recent years, he has been focusing primarily on contemporary Japanese writers, including Haruki Murakami. The discussion will be moderated by Klemen Senica.

The evening will be enlivened by young musicians from the Celje Music School. We will also prepare a small culinary surprise.
