The novel takes place in Iran during the 1979 revolution, and it intertwines three stories: the story of a vast, culturally rich Iran, the story of an eternal traveler, philosopher, and poet, and the story of two young lovers, Amir and Sinin, who are searching for their own path to happiness.
Dragan Potocnik is a phenomenon in the Slovenian cultural space. Historian, scientist, researcher, poet, writer and traveler. Above all, a traveler. In the deepest and broadest sense of the word. He travels into the depths of his own interior and into the vastness of distant lands. A journey there and back that has lasted forever and will never end. A journey that is like the gentle waves of the vast sea, which seduces us with its infinity. And depth. And mystery. But also power.
He is interested in life. He is interested in people. Their thinking, their destinies. Their everyday life and their longings.
Iran is the country he returns to most often. A country that captivated him precisely because of its people. Friendly, good, beautiful people. He writes about them in numerous works.

In the poetry collection Šahrah (Pivec Publishing House, 2012), she swims beneath the depths, surrenders to the flight of a bird, and, like a butterfly, ventures into the world of immortality.
