Romania captivates us with images of winding mountain roads and scenes of weathered houses stacked in sleepy villages, with bird nests among the yellow water lilies in the Danube Delta, with miles of wild sandy beaches and the shy glances of locals sitting on benches in front of their homes.
We managed to catch it just in time, before the crowds started discovering this enchanting place on the edge of Europe. If you like nature, idyllic landscapes and forgotten places, you won't be in a hurry to go home...
Children and parents and grandparents, everyone who loves family outings, are invited.
FROM THE TRAVEL DIARY:
"Contrasts. And colors. That's what makes the trails attractive. There's plenty of everything here. There's no room for boredom. The peace of forgotten villages is disturbed in the next moment by the hustle and bustle of charming towns, scenes of people living their everyday lives are replaced by hordes of tourists, mighty loners from other times are blinded by colorful, sometimes screaming facades, traditional sausage and thickly sliced onions for a snack are upgraded by Italian ice cream around the corner. The music of the violin, the screaming of children, the smell of freshly cut grass, the clatter of horse hooves... And somewhere in between, there we are."
