You are invited to a lecture and book presentation  Barbara Popit, who wrote: “I love peace and quiet, but I found myself in the middle of chaotic Kathmandu with an unspoken question Where is the journey ahead of me taking me? The Himalayas, a world of silence and mountainous beauty and the friendly people who live at its foot, are waiting for me. Am I ready to visit them? Will they let me get to know them?”

At the lecture, she will present her trekking in the company of mountain beauties at the foot of the Annapurna mountain range, her feelings and thoughts, and the confession of a person who was touched by the mighty Himalayas with their incredible energy. In the company of a legendary alpinist (who added a foreword to the book) and enthusiastic hikers, she absorbed the indescribable beauty on the one hand and faced culture shock on the other.
