Dr. Dušan Rutar

Dušan Rutar is a doctor of psychology and a psychoanalyst. He has published several books on Freud, disability theory, critical psychology, the idea of communism, and the theory of film narrative, touching on the work of various directors – from Almodovar to Tarkovsky.

In the 2015/2016 school year, he will address film through the lens of psychoanalysis and philosophy in a lecture series entitled Psychoanalysis and Film. The lectures will take place every third Tuesday of the month, at 5 pm in Glasba-film.
