Robotic radical prostatectomy is the removal of the entire cancerous prostate. It is performed using the Da Vinci robotic system, which allows the procedure to be performed through a few small incisions. Because the procedure is more precise, it allows the patient to recover faster and regain urinary retention and erectile function more quickly. These benefits cannot be guaranteed for every patient, as the procedure depends on the patient and the condition of the disease.
