In the week before Easter, we invite you to a lecture by one of the leading Slovenian ethnologists, Prof. Dr. Janez Bogataj.

Easter is the largest and, next to Christmas, the richest in symbolism, the Christian holiday. It is celebrated everywhere in the world where Christian communities are present, so it is full of local customs and traditions. Slovenian traditions of celebration and even individual regions or villages have their own peculiarities, which this time's guest will shed light on.

You will be able to watch the lecture HERE.
