In this time, when we are surrounded by frightening information about what is happening in the world, it is especially valuable to hear the thoughts of experts in the field of intercultural and interreligious dialogue and to join them critically and creatively in dynamic and open discussions. A person without a culture of dialogue, a culture of cooperation and a culture of inquiry can be a very poor, lonely and contradictory person, despite material wealth.
The symposia will address the essence that represents the origin of the cultural within us:
- How to be and become even more human?
- How to discover and expose all obstacles to world peace?
- How to awaken abilities within yourself and use them for the common good?
TKBAK decided to explore the field of intercultural dialogue, so we have prepared three mini-symposia, coordinated in content, within the scope of the above title, which will help us discuss and research the aforementioned field.
The project INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE THROUGH THE PRISM OF WORLD RELIGIONS AND VIEWS is intended for the lay and professional public interested in discovering wisdom through intercultural dialogue. The aim of the project is to organize three symposia under the above-mentioned umbrella title, which will contribute to the culture of dialogue between people of different opinions with their topics.
We believe that the symposiums will attract many people from the fields of religion, sociology, psychology, culture and the general population who are interested in raising the standard of living. We will create a unique opportunity for individuals of different ideological, cultural and religious views to meet in a spirit of understanding, research and tolerance. The symposiums will be a great opportunity to present their understanding and create a union of separate, partial truths, on a higher common level.
The symposia will take place on Saturdays, November 12, 2016, November 26, 2016 and December 10, 2016, between 10 am and 2 pm at the Celje Central Library in the Levstik Hall at Muzejski trg 1a, 3000 Celje.
