The University for the Third Age invites its members to a lecture by Mance Čujež entitled Panama and Costa Rica. Our Central American neighbors are closer to us than you might think, as the abundance of bananas and pineapples in Slovenia comes from just across the pond, where coffee and chocolate also flow. *Panama* is placed on the world's maritime map by the 100-year-old Panama Canal, a true engineering marvel that connects the oceans - the Atlantic and the Pacific - but separates the country. A unique fragment of the Panamanian mosaic is the Caribbean San Blas Islands, where the Kuna natives, the most autonomous ethnic group in Latin America, managed to stop time. Green, I love you green - *Costa Rica*; whether in a tropical rainforest, cloud forest, palm tree thicket or on a volcano.

A country without an army and with the greatest biodiversity on the planet, it is a paradise for breathing with full lungs in the open air and a source of pure life, like the pulse of existence and Traveling in Costa Rica is dictated by an optimistic outlook on life* Pura vida!*

You are welcome!
