On Monday, February 5th, we will at 5:30 p.m. listened to the authors of the book in the Levstik Hall  KING PETER IN THE SLOVENIAN ALPSThese are Nani POLJANEC, certainly the greatest expert and collector of archival material on the Karađorđević family in our country, and Dr. Peter MIKŠA, historian, alpinist and specialist in the study of the development of Slovenian alpinism. In 1939, King Peter II. Karađorđević spent a month in Slovenia and also climbed Triglav. The photographs of his ascent are the reason why the authors joined forces with publicist Dušan Babac and historian Dr. Borut Batagel and prepared an exhibition on this topic, in addition to the book, which "not only discovers a hitherto lesser-known side of the magical appeal of our highest mountain, but also brings our last king closer to us from a completely human perspective."  

The exhibition will be on display for a few days on the second floor of the library. You are welcome!
