On the 140th anniversary of Cankar's birth

On Monday, May 9, at 5:30 PM, we invite you to the Levstik Hall for a commemorative evening on the 140th anniversary of CANKAR'S BIRTH. On the eve of the anniversary of the birth of the great Slovenian writer, playwright and poet Ivan Cankar - he was born on May 10, 1876 in Vrhnika - we will pay tribute to his memory with words and music.
Members of the AMATEUR THEATRE TEHARJE – CELJE under the direction of Mr. Peter SIMONITI will interpret excerpts from My Life, Prof. Božena OROŽEN has – as always – prepared the accompanying text with special feeling and respect for the Slovenian written word, and the evening will also be enriched by young musicians.
