Alma M. Karlin (1889 -1950) is best known for having traveled the world, being a writer and poet, and speaking many foreign languages. She was also a theosophist, an amateur researcher and ethnographer, and certainly the most famous woman from Celje. Dramatized excerpts from her autobiography SAMA will be performed by members of the Teharje Celje Amateur Theater Sonja Mlejnik and Anica Milanovic, who is also the screenwriter and director of the event. It is a narration of Alma's life story through a reflection of her soul, her dreams, her view of the world, her longings and desires, and her relationship to her loved ones and her life.
