Urh FERLEŽ will present one of his four award-winning research papers, which have also been published in book form. The talk will be about the HISTORY OF CINEMA IN CELJE. We will walk from the first performance, which was in Celje in 1896, to Kino Union, Kino Dom and Metropola. We will also devote a few words to the festival Domestic Film Week, which had an extraordinary significance for the development of film art in the territory of the former wider homeland. With our morning U3O film subscription Silver Screen, we also want to preserve or revive some of this former splendor.
