Vesna Vuk Godina is considered one of the most widely read social critics and columnists in Slovenia due to her insight. She teaches social and cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor. In 2003, she worked as a Fulbright scholar at Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) in the USA, about which she also wrote a kind of diary, a book titled Hawaii on Paper. In addition to the diary, through the book Delusions of Postsocialism, we will also learn about her areas of interest, such as the history of social and cultural anthropology and anthropological theories, the anthropological analysis of the socialization and acculturation process, and the anthropology of postsocialist societies. Through the book Delusions of Feminism, we will also learn about the transformation of feminism from a critical theory of Western societies into an ideology that reproduces Western capitalist societies and the relations of domination within them.
