In the 2018/2019 school year, we invite you to a series of health lectures, which we are preparing in cooperation with the Dve Society. The lectures will take place every third Tuesday of the month. In October, we will host Dr. Dragan Kovačić. 

Dr. Kovačić is a cardiologist, a specialist in internal medicine. He graduated as the best student of his year and obtained the title of specialist in internal medicine. He completed his specialization in internal medicine, with additional knowledge in the field of cardiology, which he upgraded with a doctorate in heart failure. His field of work is mainly invasive cardiac diagnostics and therapy (coronarography) and pacemaker insertion. He is the head of the Cardiology Department of the Celje University Hospital.

He will be giving a lecture on high blood pressure at the Celje Central Library. The lecture will be held in the Study Reading Room.

The DVE Association maintains and raises interest in education in the fields of healthcare, health, medicine, environmental protection, nutrition and care for family life. With the Education for a Reason project, they have combined education with a charitable note: all funds raised will be used for scholarships for schoolchildren and high school students in the Celje region.
