Mohammed Malainin: The Color of Sand
Mohammed Malainin is a representative of the Polisario Front movement for the independence and sovereignty of Western Sahara. In cooperation with members of the Western Sahara Organizing Committee, he will present the culture, art and life of the people of Western Sahara. He will also present his country from the perspective of the current political and legal situation and respect for human rights, and visitors will be able to learn about the history of Western Sahara, the current situation, life in the camps, the goals and desires of the Sahrawi people and the attitude of the international community to this issue. A short documentary film titled Daughters of Hope and a photo exhibition will also be shown. The event is organized by the Celje Central Library in cooperation with the Celje Municipality.
