BINA PRINTS ŽMAVC
Bina Štampe Žmavc was born in Celje in 1951. She completed her studies in comparative literature at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, but she lives and works in Celje. She has been involved in children's improvisational theatre, writing texts and directing plays at the Pioneer Drama Theatre in Celje.
She now devotes herself to writing poetry, prose and drama, which is intended primarily for children and young people. She has published several books and poetry collections for children and adults, which have also been translated into foreign languages, and she has received numerous domestic and foreign awards. Her books are enriched by original language, immense imagination and humor, and the content is related to fundamental life questions, children's world of experiences, historical themes, difference and other social issues.
