"The holidays call for festive food, so rather than avoiding festive treats, moderation is recommended and, of course, not stretching the holidays out over the entire week."
He will be with us. Mojca Cepus, a healthy eating and weight loss consultant and certified nutritionist, who recommends that we also enjoy the spices and additives that traditionally accompany holiday food, as they have their own purpose. For example, in certain parts of Slovenia, wormwood, a bitter herb that helps with digestion, is added to wine, and horseradish also does this job perfectly.
Exercise will also speed up digestion. According to her, this is especially useful if you go for a run, for example, before eating a large meal, because this way you start or even use up your energy reserves, so the food you eat after sports activity does not go into fat but into energy.
The lecture will be held in the Study Reading Room. As the number of places is limited, please register at 03 426 17 61.
In collaboration with the DVE Association.
