Exhibition Laško Wind Bands (1962-2012)

On the second floor of the Celje Central Library, an exhibition about the more than 150-year history of the Laško Wind Band is on display.
In the nineteenth century, in 1862, when Laško had about 600 inhabitants, 28-year-old Franc Klepej from Harj founded a brass band in what was then Laški trg, which has survived through its ups and downs to the present day. Two years ago, when the band celebrated its 150th anniversary, the Laško Museum prepared a retrospective exhibition, and this summer it is being hosted in the Celje library.
