She gets involved in criminal activities, runs away from home, and suddenly faces a real tragedy - the death of a loved one. Through the perspective of the main character, the writer perfectly depicts the world of adults and exposes their egoism. Kortina humorously and with bitter teenage irony writes in her diary about things that adults try to hide from children, fearing that they might ruin their relationships.
