What do we get when an experienced author, who is also an experienced caver, sets the setting of his new youth novel in a cave? A tense, convincingly written adventure story! Damijan Šinigoj has added a full-fledged adventure story to his excellently received youth novel debut Searching for Eve, which mostly takes place in a cave, i.e. in an environment that Šinigoj, as a top caver, knows like the back of his hand. As a result, the descriptions are extremely convincing, as is all the action related to the search and rescue of missing persons. Where the Wind Sleeps is a truly tense and compositionally diverse book in which two lines meet – in one, the reader follows the trail of a missing Forest Service employee, in the other, he follows a boy and a girl who want to have an adventure, but it soon turns into a drama. Where the Wind Sleeps is a novel for teenagers, but it can undoubtedly lure even an adult reader into (its) depths. (taken from the general page of Miš Publishing House)
