Publisher about the book

The book contains memories of two chapters from the life of Bogdan Mohor. On the bright side of the moon are written the author's memories of the partisan years in Carinthia, of his commitment to the local Slovenes and the Slovene language, and his readiness, in extreme cases, to sacrifice his life in the fight for freedom. On the dark side of the moon is written what a man who suffered the greatest injustice – his conviction in the so-called Stalinist trials and years of imprisonment in Bileća – only remembers with difficulty. Both chapters, included in one narrative, give the book a special touch.

For Slovenian readers in Carinthia, the book is of extraordinary importance because of the author's testimony about the Nazi attack on a partisan unit in a bunker under Arihova Pečja. Only three people survived, including Bogdan Mohor-Ston.
