The book Tomaž and the Mysterious Haunted Castle was published in the collection At the End of the Language, in which you can choose from various stories that gradually transition from Slovenian to English. They feature interesting young heroes and heroines in tense and adventurous adventures.
The main characters of the books are Slovenians who find themselves in an English-speaking environment where they have no choice but to speak English. They soon communicate well even without a dictionary, as the characters in the story come to their aid.
