Marijan, Ciki and Daba meet up in the city as they have for many evenings and "fly kites". This is their code for taking a synthetic drug known as a refresher. But this time everything goes wrong: Marijan wakes up in a psychiatric clinic and psychologist Robert tells him that his friends left him in front of the post office, where luckily a passerby found him and probably saved his life by calling the ambulance. He feels tingling and pain all over his body, but by far the worst is the one he carries deep inside. When his mother rushes to the "psychiatry" and quickly takes him home, his long journey of facing reality and emotions is just beginning... Where does he belong and who even loves him?
A poignant story about the adolescent need to belong to a group, the lack of love, bad decisions that can lead to tragedy, and the precious importance of all supportive people, both near and far, is partly based on true events that took place in Croatia years ago.
