Iztok Vrhovec's work can be read as the story of 15-year-old Nejc or as a manual for teenagers, parents and educators. The author describes a boy in the most sensitive period of his life. Nejc is no longer a child, but not yet an adult. He is in a period of development in which he greatly needs companions to help him solve everyday problems and answer numerous questions. He needs parents and friends, but his mother is tired of work and burdened with everyday worries, and his father moved away years ago. Nejc also has a conflict with his friend. In this seemingly hopeless situation, Možicelj appears, helping Nejc with conversation and advice. The world becomes more understandable and life easier. Everyone has their own Možicelj who helps them through life, they just have to find him.
