Don't ask about the content of the story, because it can't be told in any other way than sweetened: A perfume maker, who lives in Paris, learns that her father has died and left her a house by the lake in Bled. She doesn't like the idyllic nature of Bled. More by chance than on purpose, she goes to see the house. There she finds her father's manuscript of the novel Odveč srce (The Extra Heart), and she also meets a doctor with whom she falls in love and stays in Bled for a few days. More than the story, you will enjoy words, the play on letters, the feeling of meaning, getting lost in distances, embracing closeness, pushing away pain, moving away, letting go. And this: just as no heart is superfluous in our lives, no story is superfluous either. We highly recommend it.
