We live in turbulent times. We and our children. We probably find it difficult most of the time when we try to teach children tolerance for those who are different from themselves. We try to tell them how different we are as people. That it is not our fault. We most often quote The Little Prince when we want them to pay attention to the softness and vulnerability in a person. Let's try The Bird in the Soul sometime. It is close to children and adults. In special words, it tells the essence of every person in the world: in every soul there lives a bird and each one is different from the other. Some of us hear it all the time, others almost never. Others hear it only once in their lives. Let's listen to it.
