Doris Polak Kuder is first and foremost a mother, driven by the desire for a better future for her children to explore all aspects of life. After completing her studies in pharmacy in Ljubljana, she took a job in the pharmaceutical industry. After the birth of her second daughter, she decided to study with the world-renowned expert in the connections between the mind and body, Dr. Gabor Matej. She and her husband have been creating for several years under the name Kožček řadnosti. In her free time, she likes to create with her children, drink tea in good company, and go for long walks along the Savinja River or in the nearby hills.
LECTURE SUMMARY:
It has been proven that our body cannot be in a state of gratitude and emotional distress at the same time. Feeling gratitude has very beneficial effects on our body. The beneficial effects of practicing gratitude can even be measured, for example, our good cholesterol increases, we sleep longer and better, we have a greater sense of satisfaction with life. In addition, gratitude is closely related to compassion, and as Dr. Gabor Mate emphasizes, only in the presence of compassion can we become truly whole.
