The world's first monograph, With Slavs at the Table, presents selected and characteristic dishes from thirteen Slavic countries in one place: Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine. "This is a world debut, with which the Forum of Slavic Cultures has taken the first step from the anonymity of Slavic cuisine to learning about food, living according to the taste of the seasons and coexistence with nature," said Andreja Rihter, M.Sc., director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures. The latter is also the publisher of the book.

The monograph At the Table with the Slavs, written by Dr. Janez Bogataj, received the prestigious Gourmand Award.

The event will be held in the Levstik Hall, as part of the Month of Slavic Culture.
