You are invited to spend the 2025/2026 academic year actively at the University for the Third Age.

Registration begins on September 1st and will run until September 26th, every weekday, from 9 am to 12 pm, in the U3O office on the first floor of the library.

In order to bring the University of the Third Age of Celje (U3O) closer to the widest possible circle of senior citizens of our princely city and its surroundings, we have also prepared a diverse and rich offer of more than 40 educational programs this year - both free and affordable.

You can also spend your free time culturally by attending theater, ballet and opera performances, and we will also take you on interesting excursions. You will be able to listen to health lectures by Celje experts in the field of health and receive a lot of useful information. You can also expect discounts when purchasing subscriptions to the House of Culture and SLG Celje, as well as special benefits from local providers. We will also connect and cooperate with the Celje Retirement Singing Association, and you are kindly invited to actively participate in the association.

We will also maintain the tradition of local history Monday evenings, which were started by honorary member of the university, Ms. Božena Orožen. This year too, the evenings will be enriched with interesting guests and their stories.

We will also organize short and educational workshops in the field of information technology and social gatherings.
