Catherine is overjoyed when Henry's father invites her to join them for a while at their home, Northanger Abbey. The girl, impressed by the novels she loves to read, expects the ancient abbey to be full of secrets. At the same time, she is happy that she will be able to get closer to Eleanor Tilney, Henry's younger sister, and that she will be able to be near Henry.
